Your online shop and the European Accessibility Act

Since 28 June 2025 the accessibility requirements apply to online shops selling to consumers. Most barriers sit not in the products but in the theme, and therefore on every page at once.

For shops with at least 10 employees or more than EUR 2 million annual turnover. Micro-enterprises are exempt from the service requirements.

What you have at the end

What we do not promise

Payment pages from external providers (such as PayPal or Klarna) are not in your theme. We name barriers there, but cannot fix them.
