This template structures an accessibility conformance statement (VPAT) against WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549. It lists all 55 Level A and AA success criteria with their EN 301 549 clause — you enter the conformance level and remarks per criterion. Print it or save it as a PDF.
How to fill in the template
A defensible conformance statement comes from a real evaluation, not from filling in a table. The template provides the structure; the rating per criterion must rest on documented evidence.
- Fill in the header: product/website, version, date, contact and the evaluation methods used.
- Evaluate each success criterion and assign it a conformance level (see the key).
- In the remarks, record what the rating rests on — finding, affected element, exception.
- Flag open or ambiguous points; those belong in expert review, not guessed.
A template is not yet a conformance statement
This blank template is not evidence and not a certification. A defensible statement requires a documented evaluation and — for the ambiguous criteria — human judgment. That evidence trail is exactly what Percelia produces; sign-off happens only once nothing remains open.

Success criteria (WCAG 2.2 A/AA → EN 301 549)
Criterion names use the official (English) WCAG wording to avoid translation drift on legally-referenced criteria. Chapter 9 of EN 301 549 (Web) mirrors the WCAG criteria with a leading “9.”.

Beyond the web (Chapter 9), EN 301 549 has further chapters (hardware, documents, software and more). For a web-only audit these are usually “not applicable” or “not evaluated” — state that explicitly in the statement rather than omit it.
